To identify eye shapes, look in a mirror, open your eyes and notice the amount of visible eyelid between your upper lashes and your brow bone.

SMALL EYES: They are proportionately smaller in comparison to the rest of the facial features. RENEE ZELLWEGGER, JENNIFER HUDSON

SOLUTION: Pluck the eyebrows fine to give maximum eye area. Taper a fine line from the inner corner of your eye, close to your lashes, and thicken the line toward the outer third of your eye. You can extend your liner beyond the corner of your eye slightly to open your eye- this will make your lashes look thicker and longer Use lighter shades or a slight shimmer on your lid to really open your eyes and/or use an irridescent highlighter under your brow. Try to keep dark colors to a minimum wear them on the outer corner of your eye or smudged a little into your eye crease for definition. Mascara both the upper and lower lashes, using two coats on the outer lashes only.

PROMINENT EYES: These eyes which set far forward in the face tend to dominate the facial features. The eyelids are too pronounced.

Solution:
Medium to deep shades of shadow on the upper lids help to minimize their appearance. Liners applied to the lash bases from corner to corner gives prominent eyes a smoldering and mysterious look. you'll want to use darker colors to recede the areas. Start at the lash line and fill the line with color, then graduate the color from the lash line up using a complementary shadow tone to the pencil.

Eye health is a prime concern with passing years. Protect your eyes from sun exposure and aging. A herbal supplement for the improving overall eye health is Ocular Defense Formula

DEEP-SET: If you can see some of your eye lid in the outer corners of your eyes, but this section of eye lid narrows as it gets closer to the inside corners of your eyes. JULIANNE MOORE, TORI AMOS

Solution:
Shape the eyebrows in a slight upward shape. Always use paler shades around the eyes to enhance them. Line only the lower lid and extend the line fairly out and up. Do not "shade" the crease as this area is already dramatic enough without any emphasis on it. Use light colors on your eyelids and Add a highlighter above the eye crease line. Outline the eyes with a slightly darker shadow than the shadow used on the eyelids. Use lots of mascara.

CLOSE-SET: If there is little space between both eyes in relation to the porportion of the rest of the face. EVA LANGORIA, BARBARA STREISAND, TERI HATCHER

Solution: Use a lighter shade of eyeshadow from inner corner to mid-lid and apply a just-slightly deeper shade from mid-lid to outer corner. Blend in the middle. Keep your strokes in an upward-outward movement. Keep the eyeliner dark at the outer corner and lighter as it moves towards the inner corner. If using one eyeliner color, keep the line thicker at outer third edge of eye. Apply mascara and then add a second coat only to the outside lashes. Do not add color close to the nose.

*See the more detailed eye makeup technique information for CLOSE SET EYES*

WIDE-SET: If there is generous space between both eyes in relation to the porportion of the rest of the face. JULIA STILES, KATE MOSS, JACKIE KENNEDY, OPRAH

Solution:
Start by sweeping a light shadow over the whole eye. Apply a medium color on the inner half of the eyelid and blend outward to create a natural finish. Then, line from the inner corner of the eye to the middle & then blend outward. Always use more intense eye shadow colours near the inner corner of the eyes. Line lower and upper eyelids completely from inner to outer corners. Use mascara generously, on both upper and lower lashes.

TIP: Add a little shadow (or bronzer) onto the bridge of the nose. This will help create more depth which will help give the illusion that eyes are closer together.

*See the more detailed eye makeup technique information for WIDE SET EYES*

HOODED: If you can't see your eyelid. PARIS HILTON, LISA RATCLIFFE

Solution: Apply a medium to dark shadow on the crease and hooded area. Sweep a lighter shadow on the brow bone and on the inside corner of the eye. Draw a very thin line along the top lash line (to keep the eye looking open) and smudge with a cotton swab. Apply black mascara to upper lashes. Line upper lash-line only. Gradually soften shadow as you approach the brow. Highlighting the brow bone and lining the lash base gives hooded eyes an alluring shape.

...???????-...(No Image Here..sorry!)

ALMOND SHAPE: These are the most common eye shape with their upswept lift at the outer corner. Generally, line entire upper lash line and use neutral eye shadow. Optional to line lower lash line and soften with brush.Mascara upper lashes, with emphasis on outer corners.
